Shipping Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This Shipping Policy sets out the terms on which we deliver goods to you. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to every order placed through our website.
For practical guidance on how your order is packed, what temperature each item arrives at, and what to do when it arrives, please see our Delivery Information page.
1. Delivery schedule
We deliver Tuesday to Friday. We do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Mondays, and we do not dispatch on Saturdays, Sundays or UK public holidays.
Use the table below to find out when your order will be delivered, based on when you place it.
| Order day | Order by | Delivery day | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Before 11:00am | Tuesday | |
| Tuesday | Before 11:00am | Wednesday | |

| Saturday | Any time | Tuesday | Processed Monday |
| Sunday | Any time | Tuesday | Processed Monday |
2. Order cut-off times
Our cut-off time for next-day delivery is 11:00am (GMT/BST), Monday to Thursday. This allows us time to prepare your order, pack it and hand it to our courier for next-day dispatch.
- Orders placed before 11:00am Monday to Thursday are dispatched the same day, for next-day delivery.
- Orders placed after 11:00am Monday to Thursday are processed the following working day.
- Orders placed at any time on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are held and processed first thing Monday morning, for Tuesday delivery.
Thursday before 11:00am is the last dispatch of the week.
3. Weekend and late Friday orders
We do not dispatch orders over the weekend. If you place an order after 11:00am on Thursday, or at any point on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your order is queued and processed first thing on Monday morning, and delivered on Tuesday.
If you are ordering for a specific event or party date, please plan ahead and check the schedule above. If your event falls on a weekend, we recommend choosing delivery on the Thursday before as a minimum.
4. UK public holidays
We do not process or dispatch orders on UK public holidays. If your expected delivery falls on a public holiday, your order will be delivered on the next available working day. We will do our best to communicate any delays caused by public holidays on our website and in your order confirmation email.
5. Delivery areas
We currently deliver to addresses within mainland UK. We are unable to deliver to the following at this time:
- Scottish Highlands and Islands
- Northern Ireland
- Isle of Man
- Channel Islands
- BFPO addresses
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, please contact us at hello@pizza-co.uk before placing your order.
6. Delivery charges
Delivery is charged at £7.50 per box to UK mainland addresses. One box holds up to 10kg. Where an order weighs more than 10kg it is sent in more than one box, and each additional box is charged at a further £7.50.
The number of boxes and the total delivery charge are calculated at checkout and displayed to you before you confirm your order. No delivery charge is applied after an order is placed.
We occasionally run free delivery promotions. Any applicable offer is applied automatically at checkout.
7. Risk and ownership
Your order remains at our risk until it comes into your physical possession, or into the possession of someone you have identified to receive it on your behalf. This is the position set out in section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
Redirected or delayed deliveries
Where you instruct the courier to redirect, delay or leave your order, including by using DPD’s “in flight” options, the order is treated as delivered on the terms you have set, and the risk of any resulting damage or spoilage passes to you at that point.
DPD does not store parcels in a chilled or frozen environment overnight. Where you delay delivery after we have passed your order to the courier, we bear no responsibility if the parcel is damaged or spoiled, and a refund or replacement will not be provided.
8. Failed or refused delivery
It is your responsibility to give a correct and complete delivery address at checkout, and to ensure that someone is available to receive the order. We cannot be held responsible for a failed delivery caused by an incorrect address, or by nobody being available to receive it.
If a delivery cannot be completed, the courier will follow their standard re-delivery or safe place procedure. Because our products are perishable, we are not able to offer a refund or replacement for goods that spoil as a result of a delivery that could not be completed for reasons within your control.
Please do not refuse delivery. Refused perishable goods cannot be returned to stock and cannot be refunded. If there is a problem with your order, please accept the delivery and contact us straight away.
9. Delivery delays
While we work hard to ensure all orders arrive on time, delays occasionally occur for reasons outside our control, including severe weather, courier disruption or UK public holidays. In these instances we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible.
Pizza & Co cannot be held liable for losses arising from delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Dispatch in extreme conditions
We may delay dispatch where weather conditions would compromise the safety or quality of your order, including sustained ambient temperatures above 37°C. Where we do, we will contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund if the revised date does not suit you.
We may also refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including where products are unavailable or where we suspect fraudulent activity. Where we cancel an order, you will be refunded in full.
10. Damaged, incorrect or missing orders
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@pizza-co.uk. Please include your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue.
We will review your claim promptly and provide a remedy in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, that will normally be a replacement or a refund to your original payment method. We may offer a credit or goodwill gesture in addition, but never instead of a remedy you are entitled to.
The 24 hour window is how our own claims process works and helps us resolve temperature-related issues quickly. It does not limit your statutory rights.
11. Cancelling an order
You may cancel free of charge at any time before we hand your order to the courier. After that point the order is in transit in temperature-controlled packaging and cannot be cancelled.
Because our products are perishable and liable to deteriorate rapidly, the 14 day cancellation right that normally applies to online orders does not apply to them. This exemption is set out in regulation 28(1)(c) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Full details are on our Refunds & Cancellations page.
